Rick werkte op dat moment met het ontwerpplatform SAP Fiori in combinatie met UI\/UX, maar liep tegen de grenzen daarvan aan. \u2018In de avonduren speelde ik al wat met Mendix.\u2019 Han Pieter stond op dat moment voor de vraag wat MxBlue precies met UI\/UX moest. Daar wist Rick wel een antwoord op.<\/span><\/b> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: rgb(234 80 78\/var(--tw-text-opacity)); font-family: pill-gothic, sans-serif; font-size: calc(22px + 4 * ((100vw - 480px) \/ 720)); font-weight: 700; background-color: rgb(255 255 255\/var(--tw-bg-opacity));\">Wat maakt UI\/UX design zo interessant?<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span lang=\"NL\">\u2018Ik heb het altijd leuk gevonden om grafisch bezig te zijn en de interactie met gebruikers op te zoeken. Veel organisaties werken nog met verouderde applicaties en systemen. Nieuwe medewerkers zijn maanden bezig om die in de vingers te krijgen. Daar zitten jonge IT\u2019ers niet op te wachten, dus kijken ze liever verder. Ik zie daarin een mooie kans voor verbetering vanuit design. Met Mendix bouw je een schil om zo\u2019n verouderd systeem heen, zodat alles veilig op dezelfde plek blijft staan, maar het veel prettiger werkt. Zo kan goede software, met gebruiksvriendelijk design, organisaties aantrekkelijker maken voor IT-talent.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Software met gebruiksvriendelijk design maakt organisaties aantrekkelijk voor IT-talent.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <span style=\"color: rgb(234 80 78\/var(--tw-text-opacity)); font-family: pill-gothic, sans-serif; font-size: calc(22px + 4 * ((100vw - 480px) \/ 720)); font-weight: 700; background-color: rgb(255 255 255\/var(--tw-bg-opacity));\">Wat sprak je aan in MxBlue?<\/span> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span lang=\"NL\">\u2018De raakvlakken in onze visie en de ruimte die ik hier krijg om de UI\/UX-tak op te bouwen. Inmiddels hebben we die ontwikkeld tot seniorlevel en een UX-team samengesteld, de UX Guild. Daarin onderscheiden we ons. We krijgen steeds vaker uitnodigingen om kennissessies bij externe partijen te geven. Daarnaast vind ik de combinatie van design en consultancy bij MxBlue lekker afwisselend: ik kom bij verschillende klanten over de vloer en kan tegelijkertijd idee\u00ebn uitwisselen met collega-designers.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: rgb(234 80 78\/var(--tw-text-opacity)); font-family: pill-gothic, sans-serif; font-size: calc(22px + 4 * ((100vw - 480px) \/ 720)); font-weight: 700; background-color: rgb(255 255 255\/var(--tw-bg-opacity));\">In welke richting wil je je ontwikkelen?<\/span> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span lang=\"NL\">\u2018Gamification heb ik altijd interessant gevonden. Tijdens mijn opleidingen gamedesign en communicatie- en multimediadesign was ik daar al mee bezig, in combinatie met gebruikerswensen en customer journeys. Nu doen steeds meer organisaties iets met gamification. De mogelijkheden daarvan zou ik wel verder willen onderzoeken, om het werk nog leuker te maken en te verrijken met een competitief element. Verder wil ik vooral onze designpropositie nog meer naar buiten brengen.
